As an increased number of automakers jump on the EV bandwagon, jaw-dropping acceleration is losing its allure. This is primarily because almost all EVs now provide high-quality performance.
However, comfort remains a rare specialty for most vehicles in this segment. Aside from that, the amount of luggage you can carry on your EV is quite important when embarking on a long road trip.
That’s why this video review throws light on these two aspects of the Kia EV6.
Kia EV6 Interior Comfort
The EV6 is a remarkable vehicle in terms of comfort. I say this because the number of comfort options available to drivers and passengers in this EV puts all competitors to shame.
How Much Cabin Space Does It Have?
The amount of space available inside a vehicle’s cabin is one of the key attributes that contribute to comfort.
Even a tall person can sit comfortably in the driver’s seat of the EV6. This means you won’t have to crumble your legs to fit into this vehicle.

Steering Wheel Adjustment Option Comes Handy
The steering wheel adjustment option is also a useful feature to have because it allows the driver to adjust the height to his or her liking.
Can Rear Passengers Sit Comfortably In The Kia EV6?
Most vehicles offer ample space to front passengers but normally this happens at the cost of rear passenger’s leg space, but not in the Kia EV6. That’s because Kia has given due importance to the rear passengers as well in terms of legroom.
However, one thing I’d like to point out is that due to the vehicle’s sloping rear end, tall rear passengers may have some difficulty with headroom.
Because there is no hump in the back, the third passenger can sit comfortably in the middle. However, I believe that two adults and a child can sit for long periods, whereas three adults may not be able to do so.
Rear Centre Armrest Does More Than Just Storing Items
The rear centre armrest not only provides ample storage space for keys and smartphones, but it also serves as a cup holder, allowing you to sip your favourite beverage while on the go.

USB Type C Ports For Rear Passengers
Comfort is not just concerned with soft and plush seats. Rather, it is also determined by the ability that an EV offers to its passengers.
Kia understands this, which is why there are USB Type C ports on the sides of both front seats.
How Can You Open The Kia EV6’s Boot?
Moving on to the vehicle’s boot, you have two options for opening it. The first requires you to press the key fob’s button. However, you can also use the button located at the rear of the vehicle to open the vehicle’s powered boot.

Kia EV6 Boot Space
I would say that the boot space of the vehicle is adequately sized. However, it is still not as large as the one offered by Hyundai Ioniq 5 which is a same-sized car.
So it comes as a surprise that, while the Ioniq 5 has 588 litres of storage space, the Kia EV6 boot space is limited to 520 litres.
However, I must mention that Kia has added two power buttons on each side of the boot for folding down the rear seats. As a result, the Kia EV6 boot space can be increased to nearly 1300 litres, which is impressive.
Final Verdict
The Kia EV6 is an incredibly comfortable vehicle with plush seats and plenty of options.
Besides that, the vehicle provides ample storage space to EV enthusiasts, which is why it was appropriately awarded Car of the Year 2022.
