It is also pertinent to mention that Skoda is a part of the German VW group and the company was able to bag EV sales that made it stand third in the VW group itself.
The overall ranking as well as the number of EVs sold by different manufacturers was as under
– Volkswagen sold 263,200 EVs;
– Audi sold 81,900 EVs;
– Skoda sold 46,100 EVs.
EVs now represent a total of 5.6% of the total Skoda sales and this is significant because the company sells its EVs only to the European market.
